Airplane Engine Failure : Deadstick Landing

A routine training flight where we intentionally shut down the engine while we are over the airport. This gives the student "actual" emergency landing prctice and confidence to know that the plane still flies well without power. Just keep that nose down! On a 6000 foot runway the goal is to touchdown at the 4000 feet remaining mark.
